The learning materials can be accessed offline using the Moodle Mobile App.
There are a few different Moodle Mobile Apps available in app stores, this is the one to look out for:
Using the Moodle Mobile App, you can download sections of a course, training material or a programme. This means that even when you don't have access to the internet, you are still able to work through downloaded parts of the course.
When you have access to the internet, follow these 4 steps:
- Download the free Moodle Mobile App from Google Play (external link, opens in a new tab), if accessing the course from an Android phone), or the Apple App Store (external link, opens in a new tab), if accessing from an iPhone
- Once downloaded, you will be asked to enter a URL (website address). The URL for the CABI Academy is: academy.cabi.org, and you can use your CABI Academy logins for the username and password
- Find and select your course from the list of courses on the My learning page.
- Select the download button (image below) at the top of the course page to download an offline version of the course. You can download sections of the course as needed.
When you're next connected to the internet, the course will update.
